We at Hepsa have developed The Firearms Perfecting School to assist officers who have had problems qualifying at the range and those who just want to improve there skills. We can develop programs for your departments with our world class trainers and comprehensive curriculum. Hepsa National Enforcement Training Academy is a licensed a Public Safety Training Academy in the State of Georgia. Our instructors are Certified by the G.B.P.D.S.A., P.O.S.T., A.P.O.S.T., FBI., TASER, International and Medic First Aid. Our chief instructor is Eddie Rogers with over 30 years of law enforcement experience. We offer courses for Law Enforcement, Security, Corporate and Individuals.
Our program is an innovative state-of-the-art program that provides our clients an opportunity for personal growth and professional development. We are available to provide onsite educational training at your facility.
G.B.P.D.S.A Rule 509
If you are currently working in the security field or considering a career in security working in the state of Georgia, there are some ground rules that (you should have already followed if currently working security) and must be followed if you are new to the field.
First and foremost, you must receive the proper training in accordance with Georgia Rules 509-3-02 which covers the Basic Training Curriculum for (Unarmed)
Security Officers or Georgia Rules 509-3-03 which covers the training curriculum for (Armed) Security Officers.
Let’s take a closer look at the requirements needed to work as a security officer in the state of Georgia. A minimum
of 24 hours of classroom instruction (by a board certified instructor).
The Security Officer course is State Certified through the Georgia Board of Private
Detective and Security Agencies and covers 24 mandated hours of training
in accordance with Georgia State Security Guidelines - Code: 509-3-.02 Basic Training Curriculum for Security Officers.
